The kind of blunted emotions (or lack of feelings) that you feel are signs of depression. Depression is a biochemical problem that can be effectively managed with medication. Help is only a phone call away.
As far as "enjoying loneliness," I think that you may enjoy BEING ALONE, which is not the same as lonliness. Many people enjoy their own company, and have solitary activities that they enjoy, such as music, reading, or a hobby. This can actually be an asset. If you are just alone because you don't feel enough of anything to care, that is very different.
In any case, you are NOT "going mad," but may want to seek help to enjoy life more. Best of luck to you.

some things are learned from your parents, some are acquired from experiences as you mature, some you gain (from religion), some come from your peers (like anger and verbiage), some are inate. If you grew up as say an only child or your parents gave you enough attention or gave you toys or kept you entertained with things you enjoyed you probably would be better equipped to enjoy being alone. I think happiness is a learned thing. I remember hearing it on the radio about 10 years ago but I don't remember the clinical term for this, it's that some people never learned certain things because they weren't taught them as they were growing up (so they grew up lacking fear, anger, etc.) and they acted inappropriately to those things. I'm not saying that that's what you have, I'm just saying that shrinks have a term for everything under the sun.

What ever ones consciousness is at the time of death is what they attain in their next life. If our consciousness is like an animal we will become an animal. We never die we are eternal spirit souls part and parcel of the Supreme Soul. Only the body dies. We move on but we should try to raise our consciousness so we can have a better situation in our next life. Best to not come back to the material world but go to the eternal blissful spiritual world. Good luck It's all up to you- what you do for your next existence.

No, you aren't going mad but you have a void in your life where emotion should be. Nothing seems to move you one way or the other. Perhaps something very bad has happened in your life, and you have found a way to turn off your emotions as a coping mechanism. It doesn't sound like a very enjoyable way to live. Consider talking to a counselor or therapist.

wow. you are a very special person! i worry all of the time!(see my last question if you'd like.) I think that dying is a good thing, but i am also scared because i don't know how it feels to be dead anymore. I believe that we were dead, or not alive once, and chose to come to earth and to experience life with a body.
I don't like beinng lonely. it makes me feel sad. Your unusal, but i wouldn't say there is anything the matter with you.

No, you are not going mad. I am Buddhist and what you are experiencing seems to be almost an enlightened state. I also do not fear death, it is just another part of an ongoing cycle. Although, I do still experience joy and sadness, (although I am not enlightened yet). You said you do find joy in loneliness, nothing wrong with that, I almost envy you.

Definity not. Thats a very understandable way of thinking. Its smart, and although probably depressing to live by, I completly understand these beliefs. Anyone who disrespects or stereotypes you because of this is a waste of time.

Maybe you means it hasn't entered your life to feel fullfilled or tortured by it yet
lonliness isn't the same as being alone
sadness is not the same ans being sad
you just need to experience these things to know the difference
