This movie didnt make much in box office, and almost no one i know saw it. HOWEVER, it was in my oppinion a really underrated and scary movie. Has anyone seen it? And did anyone think it was as good as i thought it was?

I really enjoyed the movie. I went to Adams, Tn, to visit the site of the Bell Haunting.
I saw another version of the same story, not nearly as good. There is another one not yet out. Neither of these movies had the budget or stars of An American Haunting.

I saw it last weekend. The ending totally surprised me. I thought it was a pretty good movie. I think the title is what ruined it in the box office. A catchier title and it probably would have done better.
It was pretty scary, but the ending left me just at wow, esp that herself came back to warn her.

I saw it and I didn't like the ending. It was Ok, but I thought it was the story of the Bell Witch. In the trailer they said it was the first time a spirit claimed the life of a human. Well that didn't happen in the movie so I was confused.

Ya pretty good movie, a piece of history put to film. I had to read the story for English along time ago. I found the movie and the book to be very close to context. "PEACE"

I saw it... I didn't like the fact that the ghost was her "innocence"... that was stupid. If it was an actual ghost in the movie, it would've been so much better...

I saw it in the theaters and while the costumes and sets were interesting, the plot was NOT! I was very disappointed.

i didn't like it. there wasnt really any ghost there. it was her dad doing these things to her. hmm...maybe it was the ghost trying to frame the father...interesting...i don't know.
but it did scare me for weeks tho.

i saw it. I thought it was a stupid premise. The girl's angry side is what's haunting them, and she's angry becuz daddy stuck his thing in her. I mean... come on.
