reset it through computer, after 1 day service engine light came back on again.

This is the car's computer's only means of telling you that it has identified a failure or fault in the control system.
At this point you must retrieve the code that triggered the light.
If you are going to do it yourself, ask the nice fellows at the local discount parts store to read them for you. It requires a code reader or a scanner.
With the code and its description in hand, you can refer to a repair or shop manual for the car for proper diagnostics, and subsequent repairs.
DON'T assume that if the code identifies a particular circuit as the fault, that it NECESSARILY means to replace the component. It MAY indicate a fault caused by another system, or a system that isn't monitored. Follow the trouble tree and repair the fault, not the symptom. It'll save you lots of money, effort, time and frustration.

Good Luck & Merry Christmas

Is the light red or amber? If it is an amber light that has the words "Service Engine", this is probably just a service reminder and should go off within a hundred miles or so of driving. If the light is red and says "Check Engine", bring it to a shop as soon as possible. One common cause of a check engine light is the oxygen sensors, but the problem could be more serious. Cost to diagnose problem: $40.00. Cost of a new engine: $3000.00+. Being broken down on the side of the road in the pouring rain with a cloud of smoke billowing from under the hood: Priceless!

You only reset the light but no repairs were actually made. Go somewhere to get the code pulled with a scanner. Then troubleshoot the problem not just changing the part that made the code. After it is repaired, get the light reset or on some vehicles it will go off automatically.
