I would say yes because the bottle is to make sure he gets his nutrition. If he is able to drink everything he needs from a cup then there is no reason for a bottle.Pediatricians wants babys off of the bottle by time they are 12 months old.My lil one just got off of the bottle last month(he just turn 2 years old) but had to have it because he would dehygerate when I would take the bottle from him. When I would take the bottle he would lock up and refuse to drink out of a sippy cup.He never got real attached to his bottle until he was 15 months old.So if you can do it then that is a good thing.

I would make him drink from a cup during the day and keep the bottle just for bedtime for a month or 2 then get rid of the bottle all together.

I had my children drinking water, juice and that sort of stuff from a cup and had their formula in a bottle and when they turned 1 after i got them off the formula I got them off the bottle and just replaced the bottle with sippy cup one day and made sure every bottle was gone and they never had any problems.

If he gets a full healthy diet from other sources i dont see why not. my sister took her baby off the bottle at 13 months old and thats because her daughter didnt even seem to miss it when my sister forgot to give her one. If you baby screams for one it might be to soon.

That is awesome...get rid of the bottle then. The bottles are really no good for their teeth, so the sooner you can get rid of it the better.
