What if they legalized gay marriage and made abortion illiegal, then the gays would be able to get the kids up for adoption!

Sorry, they already tried that once and just like Prohibition it didn't work. Check the history books. There was a time back in the 20th century when abortions actually were illegal. And you know what? Gays still couldn't adopt.
Been there. Tried that.

It would still tick off some people because some people be ticked just to be ticked.
But there are already enough kids for adoption its just that current rules/laws make it incredibly hard for gays to adopt, so illlegalizing abortion would already make a bad problem worse. of course the amount of babies might go down because the problem might become so serius that rich white people hear about it and start funding awareness programs in an attemp to help slow the problem, or it might start a new black market, or maybe even make people more responsible so they wouldnt have to get the abortions.
And I really dont care about gay marridge, sure marridge is a holy estate but that just means they can make their own church and have it ok in the eyes of god or they can have a NONchristian wedding, that seems to be the best way to make both sides happy.

Even with abortion being legal, there are PLENTY of kids up for adoption.

All this sound good in till you get to the abortion part no living creature should be killed under any circumstances. It would be horrible for you to think you have the right to take someones like away.

Well I say, if you really want to tick people off...put up a proposal for banning of straight marriage, ie all marriage. That would definitely get them mad.
But I love your idea!
