Why can't these kids do their own homework?
With math, I understand they might need help learning the proper formulas. But, with geography, history, literature questions, etc. - what the hell? If you have access to the internet, why can't you just go to wikipedia and look it up yourself. I'm only 22 and I know I'm sounding like a really old person, but honestly, quit being lazy and do your own work if you can!

I agree. Honestly I am very thankful that the Internet wasn't around when I was a kid or else I would have never done any homework. I started college in the ninties and by the time I graduated it was already starting.
It's just the easy way out. We're screwed if these are the kids that are going to be the future "thinkers" of America. Screwed big time.
When i give solutions to math problems I work them out and explain them hoping against hope they try and understand what is going on.

Homework is a discomfort in the ***, even even though it quite is properly worth it and the implications of no longer doing it are low grades, low self-properly worth, hating college, indignant mothers and dads, and awkwardness around instructors. the ideal factor of do is do exactly the homework. do no longer attempt to think of, "I shouldn't..." or doubt your self - do exactly it! you're able to be clever approximately it, do the homework this is maximum needed first, leave the little issues for final, take general breaks, no eating on an analogous time as working because it quite is distracting, NO television until you're thoroughly performed.

Not quite a question, but DITTO!

Some of these questions look like they come fresh out of a tutorial sheet! Scary... I remember way back when I was in uni, and the "infant internet" was limited to bitnet newsgroups... i tried posing a question on the processes behind lasers in an Electro-optics usegroup... Wow... FLAME BAIT GALORE!

Anyway, that was then, when information wasn't a bit so abundant as it is now.

Sometimes the effort put into trying to find someone else to do it for you is more than the effort someone would have put forth to look up the answer and solve it on your own. It's like driving 100 miles to save 2 cents a gallon on gas.

Personally, I can't understand math questions. It's basic algebra! You've been doing it your whole life and suddenly because you throw a letter in there it's impossible to do? It's BS. If you payed attention in class, there's no problem.

i agree 100% ^_^. If you're asking for the answers on your homework. You will end up hurting your own grades. That's a fact.
