He only scored 21 points tonight against Atlanta, same as Butler which isnt bad but for his standards very low (45 points against the Cavs! hello). I went to the wizards/pistons game this week and he just seems off resulting in a four game losing streak for the wizards which ended tonight against the Hawks. I'm an avid Wizards and Kings fan but i'm losing hope here!

Its not easy playing at that level night after night against the best talent in the world 100 plus games including preseason. And he is coming off of playing the worlds this summer. So he is due for a Lil slump here and there. But Gil is a gym rat he will pull out of it. and be back to killing defenses in time for the all star game

I have Arenas on my fantasy team. Last year, he helped me win the league. So, I would not worry at this point. He even said that he was struggling the past five games. He will find his shot again. I am confident in that. The good thing is that on his "off" days he racks up more assists. He knows when he isn't shooting too well and distributes the ball. He also got a few steals. The main problem is his turnovers. Once he reduces his turnovers..he will be a force again. Right now, he is forcing the issue a bit..and he needs to relax and let the game come to him. I am confident he will drop 40 points again on another team.

hey sabrina no need to worry. arenas is still hot, he has a history of being one of the streakiest shooters in the nba, he can go off for 50 one night and then 7 the next. so you never know what hes gonna do. the good thing about him though is when he isnt hitting the shots he does a great job of distributing the ball. 7 assists aint bad. plus they got the win. GO WIZ.

put him against a great defender like Jason Kidd (Nov 12--> 6/23 for 25 points - 9 FT) or Brent Barry or Billups and he wont be dropping 25 points a night shooting 45%. he is way overrated as one of the top PGs in the game. he can shoot at will, but a PG doesnt avg 5.5 apg over his career. Starbury averages 20+ ppg and 8 apg (minus this and last year b/c of a me-1st lineup), even AI, who was a SG for many years, avg 6.1 apg. he is more suited for the 2 spot

If 21 is an off night, I'd take it. You can't drop 45 every night. Although he's a great scorer, his job is to set other people up and rack up assists.

most of the arenas are indoors. it's a place where people gather to watch a sporting event, or a concert, or sometimes circus. i've been to many arenas in my life time. Most recently the Sports Arena in LA, where the Clippers play.
