well your posterity will have some genetic link so they will prove your existence physically but for that matter your own remains could be preserved to prove your existence.

if you mean leaving a legacy of sorts you will do that in whomever you are close to: friends, neices, nephews, etc.

The question is.....WAS WHAT?

If you have children, and they die....does that mean you aren't a father anymore?

If you are what you do, then when you don't you aren't.

I believe we only judge animals by the number of offspring.....you have much more value. The value is of person.

Did you have any aunts or uncles that didn't have children? Do you mean that they don't exist?

What about the people of the holocost? If all of their relatives died, does that mean they aren't?........existing?

Really was what? Potent? To whom do you have to prove?. If it was your choice NOT to have children , you donot have to prove to anyone that you are capable of.

The second part of your statement takes the cake!
