I am now 33 weeks, and I am dialating. Is this early to dialate? Will give birth soon? Does that mean the conception date is off?

No it's not too early to dilate. this does not necessarily mean that you will give birth soon...it also doesn't mean that you won't. The conception date really has nothing to do with it. With 2 of my pregnancies, I dilated to 2 for the last 2 months of each pregnancy. It pretty much stopped at 2 until I went into full labor. If your doctor does not seem concerned, then you shouldn't worry too much either.
I hope your delivery is fast and painless and may your baby be healthy!!!

nope. I dialated to 3 centemeters when i was 34 weeks. That is normal. The thing that wasnt normal was me also having very strong labor contractions. The doctors held off the contractions, but not the dialating. I had my little one healthy at 39 weeks and with a cervix that got to 5 centemeters. It stopped at 5 for some reason so i had to have a c-section. Oh well, everythings fine now. You only need to worry when you are over 3 centemeters and under 30 weeks. Doctors will tell you when there is something wrong, or odd. Anything other than that is fair game for your body to be getting ready for labor!

It is perfectly normal to be dialating at 33 weeks. I started dialating at 32 weeks and went into preterm labor. This doesn't mean that you will go into preterm labor. It just means your body is getting ready for labor. I walked around 4 cm for 8 weeks. I had my daughter 3 days after her due date. You will know if you are going into preterm labor. You will get cramps or have a backache. Also if your water breaks. I wouldn't worry. It is normal.

It can be perfectly normal. At 38 weeks, I was 5 cm dilated and thought (as you do) that I was going to drop the baby any minute. No, she was 2 weeks overdue; the labor was 20 hours, but she did weigh in at over 9 pounds.

37 weeks continues to be seen finished term so it particularly is regular for that. in case you have been purely like 33 weeks then yeah which would be a difficulty. they typically say 40 weeks is finished term. yet no you would be able to permit you realize the baby is waiting however the baby. i exchange into 37 weeks and that i began out cramping authentic undesirable I went to the wellbeing middle and 2 days later he got here out. No inducing mandatory. :) So it particularly is okay if there exchange right into a real problem then your healthcare expert would say something. All i'm asserting is don't be greatly surprised if the baby is obtainable in the subsequent week or 2. solid luck!

It doesn't necessarily mean that would will go into labor early. Many women stay at 2 or 3 cm dilated for weeks, and others "close back up" Good luck

I stayed dialated for a week or two at 2cm. I would ask my doctor if I was you.

It's not unusual to start dilating at this point. And dilating early doesn't mean you'll continue dilating, or that you'll deliver early. You can dilate a few centimeters and then have nothing happen for weeks. :)

I was 2cm dilated with my son at 32 weeks and 4cm at 36 weeks and I had him three days before my due date.
