I have a 2004 camry, 22k now, I have not touched and paid attention to any liquids under the hood since bought it. Recently I heard some fluid flowing noise under the dashboard and someone told me could be low in coolant due to air trapped in the heater core. Then I found the coolant level is below the minimal level. My question is that if coolant can be depleting during these 3 years under normal condition? I did not see any sign of leaking at this point.

i own a repair shop, and its normal to have to add to one ,,once in a while,,and yes it could have been going away slowly on it,but for a car three years old now ,id say its normal to have to add to it once in a while ,as long as it doesn't happen to often i wouldn't be concerned about it but if it becomes a once a week thing, then id have it checked over real good ,,other wise id say its alright,,good luck i hope this help,s.
