I do aree with that statement, that if sadness didnt exist many pieces of art wouldn't exist. Neither would much else...emotions are the basis of our actions and without them we're just empty vessels.

I thing (think) more people should use the "Spell Check" button, and should proof read their questions before posting them. (Ouch... that was a mighty critical THING for me to say.)


ANSWER TO SECOND QUESTION... I totally agree.


ADDITIONAL THOUGHTS...

It makes me happy that there is sadness in the world... for without sadness... the world would be missing out on some great works of art... and that would be sad.

OK... if sadness didn't exist then neither would happiness.. how would we know we was happy, if we didn't get sad?
