could be a few different things... first make sure pads are installed correctly and that the rotors and in good shape.. smooth.. also i have seen cars that the brake pads growl if there a cheap brand... sounds dumb i know but ive actually had to buy some dealer pads to make that noise stop.. good luck.. if nothing else have a shop look at it and see what their opinion is

Pads in correctly? Not metal to metal are they? Also, were the old pads decent when pulled, or did one of them look like a welding nightmare? Most likely need the rotors turned, or worse yet, replaced. Also, check the rears to be on the safe side.

Probably your disk brakes are not entirely aligned.
Go to a brake repair shop and have the disks lathed.

Could be the wrong pads, or installed wrong.
