Global warming is real, whether or not they like to hear it. You reps can't write it off as fiction, look at climate charts. Yet the republicans invade iraq so they can destroy the atmosphere with their S.U.V's. It is rediculous to call something real like global warming propoganda. Anyone with a brain knows that!

Either that or they own lots of XOM.

Just to set the record straight...these aren't "natural changes".

In the past, increasing carbon dioxide (called food for plants) + sunlight would increase vegetation and consume the excess CO2, thereby "cleaning" the atmosphere of the greenhouse gas. That was the natural cycle.

Now we have increasing CO2 (at obviously unnatural rates due to manufacturing, atuomobiles, etc - all human, not ecologically natural, activities) COUPLED with human destruction of forests (the vegetation that "cleans" the atmosphere of greenhouse gas).

Increasing CO2 + decreasing forests equals unnatural, unbalanced, global problem of massive proportions.

That's why Al Gore, in the film "An Inconvenient Truth", says the first step in fighting global warming is to PLANT A TREE!

The folks who preach the "natural cycle" myth are not at all thinking about the issue logically!

If each and every of the ice in Antarctica melted it would reason each and every of the international's oceans to upward thrust by about 2 hundred ft. this may flood cities close to the coast around the globe and many chains of islands and massive parts of continents will be lined by water. Antarctica is about as large because the 40 8 contiguous U.S. states and nil.5 of Mexico mutually and the ice overlaying it averages about a million.9 miles deep. Antarctica has about ninety % of the international's ice. fortunately, inspite of each and every of the dire predictions of the end results of international warming, this won't be able to take position.

The melting ice at the South pole could be caused by Mount Erebus erupting again after a two year lull.

Is it propaganda for the existence of talking animals too? It seems weird to look for a cartoon to educate kids about science.
