Why do some fat women have skinny gay husbands?

I have seen this combo a lot...I am gay actually, and there have been several fat girls who have come on to me pretty strong. What is up with that?

Gay guys are often the first guys larger girls/women feel safe around. Maybe because:

- they know you won't use them for sex
- they know you understand what it's like to be discriminated against or called names or harrassed
- if you're "out" you can hang out with them in public places and you won't feel the need to do and say things to let people know "we're not dating" like some straight guy friends might who are worried about their reputation
- if you're not interested in them sexually, it's nothing personal, so there's no real insult to hurt their self esteem
- you're usually pretty fun to be around
- you often have a better handle on sensitivity and emotional literacy than straight guys do, at a much younger age
- less macho or sexist B.S. to put up with
- at least a dozen other reasons

Take it as a compliment. Girls like gay guys.
(As for the marriage piece, that part I don't get and haven't noticed.)

Fat women or obese women like gay men a little too much sometimes. I am a lesbian but I have noticed this a lot.
Here is my theory.
I think obese people are always wanting to one up themselves.
They don't have to impress a gay man too much and that just ties into their insecurity. In turn it gives them security to hit on a man they will never really have.

I'm straight but I would have to say they do it because gay guys give them the attention they don't get from the straight guys. I mean c'mon, do you go for fat guys? Perhaps, I'm not sure, but probably not. But really, gay or straight has nothing to do with it, I think. You're not after them (because they're chicks, not because they're fat), so you'd have more tendency to pay attention and talk with them. Most straight guys don't want fat chicks so they don't pay attention.

They're obviously attracted to you. Some fat women are attracted to small men. Some small men are attracted to bigger women. It's all about what people like. You can't generalize that all big women like small men because that's certainly not true.

I would asume they are 1) wishing they were skinnier, 2) think you are HOT, 3) have to let their sexual agression out some how, 4) gay guys are usually pretty nice to everyone.
