That's an easy answer. It was a planned storyline, which it was. Usually what they do to get a wrestler bleeding is that the wrestler who is supposed to bleed has a razor blade hidden and he cuts open his head with it, or someone did it for him. If you paid attention, you never actually saw what they did backstage so you know that was planned. Also, if you watched closely, the chair shots Randy Orton and Edge gave flair weren't even close to hitting him, all they did was hit the other side of the chair to make it look like they hit him. Randy Orton and Adam Copeland (Edge's real name) would never actually hurt Ric Flair, they aren't those type of people, they are just in character and showing us that they are heels and damn good ones at that. The reason the WWE did that (and it has been confirmed) is because Flair needs to take a little time off so that he can go through the divorce proceedings to his wife Betty. I don't understand why some of you get so worked up over this stuff, believe me it was all planned out, Flair knew about it! It is called World Wrestling ENTERTAINMENT for a reason, the wrestlers and Divas are not only wrestling, they are acting as well, so just remember that mostly everything you see on Raw, Smackdown, and ECW is planned. it may be fake but hh did the same thing to fliar ragal orton edge cena and vince but with a sledge hammer and flair had it coming to him he shouldnt have beat up the cheerleaders again u just dont do that and thtas why flair got that but it was only a stroyline so it was fake but imagge if it was real that would haved ruled. and yeah that was flair but triple h dose the same thing and i dont hear yall saying he should go to ovw so hop off the dx band wagon bcuz edge and orton did wat they had to do

it was sick but it is paret of the storyline cause ric flair is going to be away from wrestling for a little while because he has to go throgh a divorce with his wife beth

Does "Boooooo" describe it, or it quite doesn't express it, on top of that I think Orton and Edge are pathetic wrestlers, put them together they make one wrestler. Send these two to OVW with Spirit Squad.

it made me extremely angry that they did. that. it was fake though. but i hated it. i can't believe they would do that to ric flair even though it was fake except for the chair sandwiching. But it made me happy cuz DX will murder them next week.
