Ok lets just get straight to the point:

[Read the whole thing please.]
So, I recently started dating my "friend" a month ago today. I have a 4 month old baby [not his son], and we started having sex about 2 or three weeks ago. Because of the whole situation with the father of my son not helping me out and abandoning me, with all these responsabilities, i've been stressed out. I think that is probably the reason why i have been getting my period every two weeks or every other week. I wasn't planning on taking the "mini pill" a.k.a Ortho Micronor [Ortho tricyclen Lo], but decided to do so since I've been having sex with him.
...The only PROBLEM is that we already did it condom-less before i started taking the pill.

These are the dates we had sex:
The day after my period ended
The day my next period started
A few days following the end of my period.

I never been on the pill before but i've been feeling real strange lately ,[nauseous, tired, hunry, irritable..etc]

Not to mention i got "spotting" for about four days that was nothing at all like my period. I get mine for about 7 or 8 days. And today after sex i noticed some pinkish discharge.

So my question to you is...
What the heck is going on with me? Do you think it might just be the pills that are causing these effects on me? Or could I really be pregnant. I really don't want another one. But i realize we amde a mistake. Can someone please enlighten me?

Has this happened to anyone else while on the pill?

i took Plan B the first time after unprotected sex and only that time. So maybe that caused the spotting?

You might be pregnant, you need to take a preg. test, or go to your Dr.

You have to rememebr that when you have a baby the hormones take FOREVER to get back to "normal", irregular periods are very normal. Now there is always a chance that you will get pregnant. I am sorry for your current situation with the babies father but you made a baby with him... you can make one with this fellow too. keep usin those condoms, or dont let your lust take over. You are in control. Keep smart, take a test, and good luck. Pregnancy this soon after a child is rough on the body so if you think you may be start takin those vitamins now k.

Micronor is notorious for causing the symptoms you describe, especially if you don't take it at exactly the same time every day.

I totally felt pregnant most of the time I was on it. And my OB said that's really common.

I took a home pregnancy test, just to be sure. But it was negative. (You should take one, too, just to be sure.)

For me, they said to tough it out, or to quit Micronor and use condoms (and perhaps a second method besides) until I weaned my daughter. And then to switch to regular birth control pills after that, since they're less likely to cause all this trouble.

Well typically you ovulate 2 weeks after the first day of your last period, but since your period is messed up, you can't be sure. If you think it is possible that you might be pregnant then take a test. The messed up period could very easily be from the pill. Good luck

Get a pregnancy test. And by the way,

The thought of having TWO fathers not helping you out and abandoning you with all your responsibilities should be enough to stress you out of having unsafe sex in this relationship.

Girl, having unsafe penetrative sex by the day method is THE most unsafe and unreliable method of contraception. Start thinking more of your 4 month old baby and his future college tuition over the needs of your condomless man.

Take it from me. I am a man. God Bless you.

It can take up to 2weeks to become pregnant. Everyone's ovulation dates can be different also.

Always a rule of thumb - if you think you may be pregnant, take a test & call your OB to confirm a pregnancy/no pregnancy.

Or you could research this same question on the resolved answers, there's about at least a thousand of them, and they all have the same answer.

There's a chance to get pregnant on all those days. If he busted in you I'd suggest a pregnancy test. The pill doesn't always keep you from becoming pregnant but it gives you a lesser chance.

I do not think you can be preg. yet because of the timing but you said you are kinda messed up so you could ovulate whenever. That is a side effect of the pill so don't worry about that! ( I felt the same way) If you miss your period then worry but not till then.

If i was you id just keep taking the pill sometimes it takes your hormones to get used to them trying to tame them. If your really concerned about it then you should go buy a pg test but im almost postive that its just the pills specially since you've taking the plan B pill....goodluck to you!
