They both have good and bad points. but having both with neither set as the default browser is the best of both worlds.IE7 is usually the one exploited by most HACKERS because it holds easily the largest share of computers on the net so security could be an issue.Some web sites only work in IE so you couldn't use Firefox,ie (online games etc.).One more thing, you'll have to download and install separate versions of Flashplayer & Shockwave for each browser.Java runs on both so no need to worry about that.Unless you only have 64 Mb of memory or 2Gb of Hd space then try both and make up your own mind.There is another browser called Opera which is also great (probably the best),but only use it if you know what your doing.

It doesn't matter version it is, IE is just too dangerous to keep using.

Get Firefox. It's better than IE7. A lot of people is having problems with IE7.

It has several add-ons.
