Based on my experience, frequent intercourse is not the main factor of feminine itching or vaginal or urinary tract infection. It is the masculine hygiene of your partner. His penis may not be properly washed, so there may be a hint of yeast on it. He can pass it on to you.
He should wash his private part with soap thoroughly and wipe it dry after bathing, and before intercourse. And, just to be sure any germs or yeast will be killed, he should wipe alcohol on his penis using a sterile cotton, then wipe the penis dry with a clean cloth. He must make sure he does not get the alcohol on his meatus (where urine and sperm squirt out), because it stings.

It depends on what you define as "a little". If it is just chafing it will not come with any odor or discharge and will go away after a day or two of rest. If it doesnt or your intuition tells you something is wrong, see your doctor.

I would see your doctor. It's better to have anything checked out when it comes to that area.
