Point Guard-Okay this player is the most important to the team. Not necessarily the best but he is the most important.
first this person should have good ball handling skills and must be able to see the court better than anyone on the team. Vision is very important. He also needs to be a good passer because he is going to be the man guy who distributes the ball.
Shooting Guard-Now a lot of times this is the best player on the team.(if you look to the history of the NBA and presnt, like Jordan,Kobe, Wade, Lebron). This person should have a good shot and should be able to drive to the basket.
Small Foward-Well he is the guy inthe middle. He should be able to driblle (at least descent), rebound, drive and sometimes post up.
Power Foward- This guy rebounds and is also accounted to score points down low and blocks shots. They also should be able to set a pick since they usually set the most picks/screens.
Center-This guy rebounds, blocks, scores down low.

the positions r: point guard (ball handleing skills), shooting guard(obviously shooting and ballhandleing skills), small forward (pretty much the same as the shooting guard but a little bigger), power forward ( a big man that can push and knock anyone over to get to the basket), and lastly a center (probably the biggest guy on the team who can get the ball over people and can play down low)

there is 1 point guard who is the person who is a good ball handler, and can shoot. there are 2 guards who tend to be shorter, and they are good shooters as well. then there are 2 forwards who are the taller people on the team. they stay down low and post up. there layups need to be very, and they need to go up strong. one of the forwards tip the ball at the beginning of the game. they are the taller ones, or the person who can jump the highest.
