ANYONE that hurts those they love are stupid - plain and simple.
You don't hurt the ones you love, or pretty soon they won't love you anymore, and then you have no one. My in-laws are perfect examples of this, as they profess to care about so many people, yet they don't have a single d@mn friend in the world, and I don't feel sorry for them - they stab me in the back (metaphorically) every chance they get...

I think that the reason we hurt someone we love is because they've hurt us and we are retaliating. I also think that sometimes we stew over different issues and carry resentment around towards that loved one....and then one day they'll say something that doesn't sit right with you, and so you let them have it That's my story and I'm stickin' to it.

Yes, that's part of it...because we can.
Another reason is, deep down in our souls we actually feel as if we don't deserve to be loved. So, we push them away, by any means necessary, to avoid any possibility of being hurt.

Just to make us feel worse about ourselves i suppose. And we cant really hurt people we dont like because they probably dont like us either so they dont care. Why did i get a thumbs down for my oppinion?

we hurt the people we live because we trust them and we know it's safe, for they will be willing to forgive us no matter what we do.
