When you read the jobs pages for local councils hiring for Punjabi outreach workers and that the only people that can apply have got to be from that urdu speaking community, or Gay outreach coordinator and that you have to be gay to apply. When council tax has tripled in the last ten yeras and the council doesnt bother to empty the bins or repair schools you just not something is rotten in the rotten boroughs, why we as taxpayers put up with this is unbelievable. What needs to happen is all these diversity coordinators get the sack and local councillors are taken out the back of the town hall and shot.

Two, why don't you run for council office and see if you can fix things up for us.
Three, doesn't your church or something teach you that shooting people who give jobs to the less fortunate is a sin.

I think you have misunderstood.When seeking staff to work with a particular client group they are looking for the best person to carry out the specification for the post so an applicant who has experiences and knowledge will be the most suitable applicant.If you or i applied and could not speak the language or had no knowledge or experience about the client group then we would be wasting our time applying.The job ad is not seeking to exclude you but seeking the best person for the job.If a white person was fluent in punjabi and could meet the criteria for the job then they would have as much chance of getting it as anyone else.It is called equal opportunities.
