If you have ruled out pregnancy and fibroids, my only other guess would be that it is the result of increased estrogen. If a doctor has ordered a sonogram, presumably you are under the care of a gynecologist, who should be able to anser that question for you (and has a LOT more information about you than we have!)
There is also the possibility of WSTS - "We see this sometimes" - which means that people are different, and things happen for no apparent reason.

Well Fibroid made my Uterus Swell, But other than Pregnancy you may need an MRI done, If you are not in pain and still can't find out why other than having a Beer belly, I would make sure you have not eaten or drunk anything that was Cursed by someone who practice witch craft, Not joking but I knew of persons that made things such as this happened to people. Hopefully it is a medical problem, No need to be alarmed as long as you have not offend anyone in your life that maybe into this sort of thing. Take Care

having babies and not breastfeeding afterward. breastfeeding actually shrinks the uterus back to the size it was before the pregnancy. also once you hit menopause, the uterus increases in size.
