I am a junior in high school, and I want to go to Johnson and Wales Culinary school. But I am scared on the fact that they treat us so differently then high school, its seems so hard to keep up. And I am scared about sharing a dorm with three other people...
What do you guys think?

welcome to the real world. Hey this is going to be a big step in your life. You are now becoming or are now an adult. This is going to be your opportunity to grow into and experience the world out there. Dont worry, if you stress out and worry, then your years in college will suck. Make time to enjoy(partying to a limit) and then stay focused with school work as well. You will be able to party 20 times more harder after college, but make the most out of the years in college. If I had a chance to, I would LOVE to go back to college, those were the best years of my life....seriously, you will enjoy it. It is a whole new world.

Don't worry. There are tons of other people in the same boat. Nobody else your age has any more experience with college than you do. It's normal to feel nervous whenever you're about to go through a big change, like moving from high school to college. Also remember that you've still got more than a year left before college, and your anxieties could easily change before then.

okay, first of all, college is scary at first. However, johnson and wales is a good school, a few of my friends went there. having three roomates will be tough, but you will adjust. They will treat you differently in college, like an adult...it's much different than highschool. Don't worry... college is the best time of your life...be psyched!! :)

J&W has a pretty cool atmosphere... Providence has a ton to offer as well. If you're not from the area, southern New England is a really great place... Cape Cod is only an hour north, as is Boston... PVD has a mind-blowing mall... respect your fears, but don't let them get in the way of not only education, but bigger opportunities life has to offer! Dive right in!

Trust me..I came from a foreign country and I was terrified of attending college, but I knew that I wanted a better education. I must admit college was the best time of my life...I also lived on campus with roommates and it wasnt that bad. Just ensure that your roommates respect you, without you being mean. Clean up after yourself and respect them also. You'll be fine...U'll love it!

Be happy that you have the opportunity to go to college! A lot of people don't. You'll only feel strange for a week or two and then everything will be fine. Don't let fear limit your horizons. Go for it!

don't worry. loads of people get spooked about going to new places and experiencing different things. it's just something you have to accept and try to find ways of handling it. everyone gets nervous at soem point it all really maters on how you deal with it. figure what exactly your scared of and then deal with it. talk to those who have been through this kind of thing and maybe it won't seem so bad.
