It depends on the class. However, I would pick a topic that you know pretty well and can talk about comfortably given you will not be using notes . If you need pros and cons, pick a topic on which there are good points to be made on both sides.
I would practice the night before with your mom, dad, brother or sister speaking so that you are confident you know it and that it is the right length. That is why actors have dress rehearsals. Write the main points of your speech on cards and make sure you know what they are.

Girls learn things fast ! Boys it takes longer! Girls do there homework more often then boys. Boys know more about sports and video games! Boys can under girls more then girls realize!
