i am not confusing rights with obligations.but even if i was if you have the same rights you should have the same obligations. right ? We don't have a draft but women are excemt as of right now and men of course are not.

I think both men and women should have to register if there were to be a draft. I dont look for any special treatment as a woman. Of course I think the first two women to be drafted should be the Bush twins. But thats another subject too!

Absolutely. As a mother of five, I could really do some damage... just ask the kids!!!

Really, it's only fair. It hasn't happened yet because, in the past, the women were mostly home taking care of the children and working in the factories making things to contribute to the war, such as clothing and weapons, etc.

My eldest daughter joined the guard already, and we are fully supporting the notion that every single one of our five children be in the military for at least four years. I think it teaches alot of discipline and it gives them a huge sense of pride for their country and themselves. It is a great tribute to all of our ancestors who have fought and died for our country and our freedoms as well.

I don't live in fear of one of them dying at war. I have seen my daughter's driving skills and I am CERTAIN that there is a far greater chance for her to be killed in a car accident than in Iraq or wherever they may send her.

Did I mention that of our children, only one is a boy? Four girls, ages 8 to 18, all military bound.

Well, the US has no draft, so the question is moot. Isreal has one, and women are drafted. If it happened here, I'm sure there would be a draft for women, where they are drafted, but in non-combat roles.
