I have been having stomach pains it seems almost everyday, but i just started taking birth conrtol pills and i already had my period. I'm in college and I do sleep a lot and am tired, but thats common for a college student. I do have my ups and downs in mood swings but what women doesn't.
Besides the side effects of taking birth control ( some stomach pain, and spotting here and there) i feel good, but sometimes i feel like i want to throw up but i haven't yet. maybe I need to just take a birth contorl test just to be on the safe side.
What do you think is the solution here?

Stop foolin' yourself and go get a pregnancy test.
The drug store sells pregnancy test kit. Buy a reliable brand but buy now.
Pregnancy symptoms differ from one person to another; from one pregnancy to another. Sometimes you might not even know it into your 3rd or 4th months.

Be responsible to your body and whatever the consequences.

Some women have reactions to the birth control pill. I needed to try three different ones before I found one that worked for me.

You can try a pregnancy test to see if you are pregnant. You should still use other birth control methods if you are having sex until you are sure the birth control pill is working for you.

I remember when I first started taking the pill, I had a lot of breast pain and some spotting.

You should also discuss these symptoms with your doctor in case he or she wants to consider changing your medication. I repeat, take additional precautions if you plan on having sex.

Well my friend had the same problem as you...In her case she just had pains because her body was getting used to having the birth control pills in her system...thats a possible side effects...you can still have your period and be pregnant...Take a pregnancy test just to be on the safe side...And the part of you always being sleepy and tired could also mean that you could be pregnant...But it could also mean that your blood levels are low and might be close to becoming anemic....so contact your doctor as soon as possible...hope everything turns out good for you

Take your pregnancy test. They have them here at the dollar store.

Based on what you're saying it's totally not enough information. I don't think you are. For me I felt really really emotional and empathetic (uncharacteristically). Like I almost started crying when a friend was telling me about her dog's operation... and I normally don't get upset about that sort of thing. Also I had really really weird dreams and felt fizzy feelings in my abdomen. And I felt really wiped out tired like waking up after a really physical day of moving or something.

I had all of these symptoms when I started taking birth control. you are right , they are sypmtoms of pregnancy, but your body thinks it is pregnant, and you are getting extra hormones in your system. If you feel like it take a test, but Im guessing that you are not. BUT YOU CAN GET PREGO while on birth control, I'm not saying that you can't. A friend of mine did. Use a condom also.

You might become pregnant any time you have un-protected sex.
