Life exists in the physical world. Physicists have a high regard for the 1st law of thermodynamics despite the fact that life disregard that law.

always moves in the opposite of entropy...to a more complicated state not toward caos. That's the wonder of life..it defies normal physics on a level we can observe.

I'm not sure what you mean by "wrong direction". What do you consider wrong? Less complex? Smaller?
Anyway, evolution doesn't have a direction. Evolution does not have a particular end goal in mind. This is one of the basic tenets of evolution. If you were to rewind history and start all over again, you'd probably NOT get man!
Evolution just works to make the particular individual/species as best suited to the CURRENT ENVIRONMENT as is possible. It doesn't try to predict what will be in the future; it's concerned with the here and now! Evolution doesn't work from scratch each and every time, either (occasionally something new DOES pop up, but not every time). It just builds upon what's been retained from the past.
So, evolution doesn't have a direction. So, there is no "wrong" direction.

Care to elaborate?

I do see a possible "devolution" of the human race seeing as we are getting more and more dependent on technology. With the rate technology is improving, it is completely and utterly out distancing whatever evolution can do for us. Evolution is an extremely slow process that technology frankly outperforms.

With help from technology, evolution will be quite outdated. Why wait millions of years for evolution to kick in when technology can improve upon our biological makeup in a fraction of the time? Let's just hope that technology doesn't lead to our downfall from irresponsible use or lack of discretion.

It's a myth that evolution defies the laws of entropy. If you look at it in a "closed box" system , organisms must use a lot of energy to maintain their living cell strucutre. Without this energy input they will quickly degrade into the environment.

See the latter writings of Richard Dawkins for a good discussion of this.

what makes you think evolution has a direction, except to better adapted to the current environment your living in? Can you give me an example of evolution going the wrong way, of a species becoming less adapted to their habitat? I certainly can't think of this ever being the case.

Hi. Human activity has stopped evolution for man temporarily. Species die at an abnormal rate, but Nature always find a cure.

Evolution is a theory based upon incomplete data and someone's imagination. It can look like anything.
