Should be around $15-30 + the belt and or belts depending what make and model . Belts are usually cheap $3-15 but I have seen some select models of serpentine belts go for over $70 (If I remember right it was a 0-something model Honda 74.88 at Advance ) Good luck and happy motoring , Chris

I've always had cars with fan belts, but a couple weeks ago I changed the serpentine belt on a GM. Man, I sure wish those were invented alot of years ago, it sure makes it easy.

If you have a serpentine belt, do it yourself, it's so easy, just pull back on the spring-loaded tension idler usng your lug wrench as a lever and slip the silly thing in.

I wouldn't pay someone to do something that easy.

depends on what belts. most vehicles call for 1/2 to 1 hr labor for power steering, alternator, water pump and A/C belts. If you are talking about timing belts then that varries widely by make and model.
