...a guy does something nice for you!? yesterday, a guy was getting ice cream (at the dining hall)...he had his hand on the lever and everything, ready to pull down but he turns and looks at me and says, "Ladies first"! I thought that was so nice! also...I was in the elevator with 4 other girls and 1 guy...the guy was in the front, right next to the door. As the door opened, he held out his hand for the girl next to him to go first...and he did that for everyone else too! He let all the girls go first...how nice!!!!!

Of course I love it! Who doesn't love it when someone (guy or girl) does something nice to help you or just to brighten your day!

My husband isn't always the most thoughtful (doesn't bring me flowers or such) but has already taught our eldest son, who will be 3 next week, to hold the door for me, especially when I have his brother in the stroller. He's also insistant on him putting his dishes in the sink, his clothes in the hamper, and his toys back on his shelf/in the toybox because it helps Mommy!

And just yesterday he insisted on holding the door for another woman at the pharmacy because she was pushing a stroller and needed his help! I love it!! My little gentleman!

And considering that he will one day be someones husband, we've got to train him right!! haha

O my gosh I do! Some boys aren't decent enough to do that though. If all boys did that though it wouldn't be such a big deal. I made a boy when I was in 7th grade let me and my friend go first. It is nice.

That was very nice of him. On Sunday someone was nice to me. I work at my local hospital as a nurse. I went to lunch. I was in the cafeteria getting ready to pay when a guy came up and said I was taking such good care of his dad he wanted to repay me in some small way. I thanked him. I was doing my job but it was nice of that guy to buy my lunch.

I love it. A kid named Jerry in my ELA and French class gave me peices of paper all day because I forgot my binder. He is so nice. Kaleb also helped me pick up my books one time when I sropped them, held the door open for me, and lent me a dollar to buy a water. Guys have their moments...

My husband insists on holding the doors open for me. He use to open and close the car door for me but I kept telling him that I was not helpless and I could get in and out of the car by myself.

Well, ya I think all women love it when a guy does something nice for them. Atleast I would hope because I think a women would be crazy to like it when a guy treats her like crap.

i hate that, it's old fashioned, women are always talking about how they want to be seen in a modern way, free of traditional stereotypes, but then they turn around and gush when a guy holds the door for them. ugh.
