I am talking about the elves that are portrayed in many Med. Fantasy books,movies,etc. NOT the creepy little organisms running around for St.Nicolas......

According to Tolkien, elves are tall and stately. They look like humans with pointy ears. They are also immortal, but can be killed in battle or die of a broken heart. Famous elves include Legolas, Elrond, Gil-Galad, and the Lady Galadriel.

there are several kinds of elves. First, you have the cute little ones who are much smaller than people and are sprite-like. Then you have what we call a 'Tolkien Style' elf. These elves are like humans in a way, except that they normally have pointed ears, are tall and slender and are usually beautiful to behold. I've actually read that Tolkien got the idea from an old Irish myth.
then you have dark elves, or 'drow', who have dark (blackish or grayish) skin and snow-white hair, usually yellow eyes.
I'm sure there are lots more... I just love fantasy!

They live in the midst of the deep forest in an extremely
tall hollow Oak Tree. There is a very small Keebler sighn
on one side of the tree near the bottom. This is were all
tiny elves are baking Chocolate Chip Keebler cookies. Don't

I can't give a good description, but I can tell you that there are light and dark elves. Light elves = lord of the ring elves. Dark elves are said to live underground and are good at forging. They aren't dwarves, I believe they hold the beauty of light elves, only darker. ... though, one would expect the "light" elves to be tanned and the "dark" elves to be pale from lack of sunlight

theres some who live within an old oak tree in the forest near me.there very nice to me. smart, & very small.big ears, bright eyes. they know when things will happen bad to me and warn me .there my friends.they dont wear any cloths.they have a warm glow about them.teninti is a child like me elve. she is my best friend.

However you want them to look like!!!! usually they have pointed ears due to the sensory advancement of the race. light eyes and skin mostly but some are half and half are light...swift and fast healers...that's about it..oh and they live longer then humans and have elemental magical prowess.
