All stars eventually die because gravity pulls the gas to the inside where it implodes, sometimes causing a black hole. Most just burn out, though and are just a big floating mass.

Hi. Each star starts out with a large but limited amount of fuel, mostly hydrogen. The star would collapse right away if the hydrogen fusion did not heat the inside enough to stop the contraction. It does for a while but eventually gravity wins and the star collapses.

To be a splash extra precise...initiate stay maximum of their lives in an equalibrium. because of their super mass, gravity desires to interrupt down them down. The tension because of the nuclear reactions in the middle desire to strengthen them. those 2 forces hit upon a ballance and as long because of the fact the middle has gas to burn, the solar is sweet. whilst the middle runs out, the inevitable cave in maintains. How the celebrity finally ends up relies upon on this is mass.
