I am really stressed out with school and work and everything else. My boyfriend and I were fighting because of it and I hate fighting with him, no matter what it still hurts me. I am also pmsing and we always have fights around that time of the month, sometimes his fault but mostly mine and I do feel horrible. Does anyone have any tips to feel less stress and to be a better girlfriend, especially when I am pmsing? How many other women fight with their loved ones when they are pmsing? I hate making us fight, even though we have only had 3 very minor fights, fighting with him hurts me no matter what. Please help? Thank you

Stress causes normal situations to appear as giants. You have to find ways to relax yourself and find time to get away from some of the stress which confronts you every day. Even a change of scenery for a short while might help.

Also to take some stress from your school days by preparing your home work. in the early afternoon. When finished, if possible prepare your clothes for school the next day.

Find some time to watch TV, read a book, or talk on the phone with friends to relax yourself before going to bed.

Try to eat a balanced meal, but not too late at night.

Get at least 8 hours of sleep.

Drink lots of water.

There are mild medication which can deal with ""That time of the month"". Check with your Doctor.

If you believe in prayers, read your bible, Philippians chapter 4, verse 5 & 6.

Good luck to you.

Well, I went through this a few weeks back. It was worse than usual. What I had to do was just step back and take a break from everything for a few hours.
I relaxed in my room for a little bit, listening to music and pretty much just brooding. Everyone needs sulking time.
Then once I was finished I went for a walk around the block and focused on all the positives. It's hard but getting excersise helps. After I got home I treated myself to a piece of chocolate.

As for your boyfriend. Give him a heads up so that maybe he can tread a little more lightly around you when it's that time of the month.

Instead of fighting, just give in and say to him, I am pmsing and I really could just use a hug.

Always works for me. Sometimes its easier to admit the defeat!

PMS is a myth, and just an excuse for women to misbehave.
