Do you still sleep with a teddy bear or soft toy that you have had since a child? If you do, what age are you? what does your partner (if you have one )say?

Judging by the majority of answers looks like I am in the minority.. I have Twaddle the ted and Benjimena (a name I made up when I was 5) the bunny.. I am 33!!! How embarrassing!!! My fella is not very fond of them.. He says they smell....

I'm 36.
My husband doesn't mind it and have grown to love him too.

Yes I sleep with a teddy bear I've had for years and my dog sleeps in bed with me also but I don't have a partner so no one complains by the way I'm 18

no...sometimes... but yes , i have kept my favourites, 1 from since i was born, from my important birthdays, and my graduation. these type of collectable meaningful stuff is nice to me. care bear! pooh bear! tiger! the blue nosed bear! superman soft toy : )
i also have heart pillows and sparkly bright cushions.
and i want a new teddy from 'The teddy bear factory'! : )
i still like the disney store and some other places too : )
im 22 and i dont care. i just need to look at them some times.
i know i would miss them if i threw them away. but i love all things gorgeous and cute. i still want more : )

I do... It's a blue monkey that has no eyes. I have had him forever.... but I have yet to name him. I have been naming him the person I like currently, and that makes me need that monkey even more. His name right now is Ryan or Kaleb. It depends on some days. The monkey is just so... cushy, so warm. It brings me great warmth and securety. I am in Middle School. If anybody ever found out I slept with a stuffed animal, I would never be able to live it down.

No, I don't have a teddy bear that I sleep with, unless I have a head ache and then I throw him in the microwave and heat him up(that's what he's for, he has rice inside of him), but I always sleep with a body pillow that I can snuggle up to and wrap my arms around it, and it don't talk back or kick me out of bed, but it keeps me comfortable. I am single.

I'm 58 and I still sleep with the extra-soft and squishy feather pillow that I've had for over 50 years.
It's the only thing I took with me when I left home at 17, and I'll probably be buried with it some day.
My husband thinks it's stupid, but only because you can buy a new pillow for $20 at any Wal-Mart.

I am 23 & have a small teddy bear who sits at the top of my bed. When my boyfriend is here the teddy goes in one of my bedside draws- wouldn't want to damage her mind!!

well i dont have a teddy bear no more but i do have to fall asleep holding onto another pillow or the blanket cruched up in my arms my partner doesnt mind really im 24

No I don't. But if an adult does sleep with a cherished stuffed animal, I think that's fine. It's comforting for them and soothes them. I'm thinking that maybe the stuffed animal represents the child in them that never got enough love.

I still have Archie, an old stuffed dog that I've had since I was 2 years old, I'm now 49, Archie is in our bedroom on top of the wardrobe these days.

Yes, I often sleep with Scots Ted who's been with me since I was 1! I'm nearly 30 now!! He doesn't mind one bit! He just laughs at me and thinks I'm bonkers! That's nothing anyway, my friend still takes her comfort blanket (old rag!!) everywhere with her and it's the same one she had as a baby!!!
