I started birth control pills on a day I'm not suppose to...?

I'm on ortho tri cyclen 28 pack. It said I should start on a Sunday or during the first 24 hours of my period. I didn't do either of that... so is it not going to work?

Its still working. Dont panic! There only suggestions as to keep a timely order and regular track of your menstral cycle. However please do beware that birth control is still only 99% effective against pregnancy but not effective against STD's, please wear a condom even though you are on the pill.
