I'd say LT, but you can't really compare... Alexander wasn't here for the whole year, and he's probably the only one that would actually have a chance to be close to LT. But I have to admit, LT is THE best all-around runningback i've ever seen.

This is a trick question, right? LT!!! He is a triple threat that can score by running the ball, no linebacker can cover him one on one as a receiver out of the backfield and he even has a few TD passes ala Sweetness. LJ and Shawn are one dimensional. This versatility is what gives Tiki is appeal as the annual #4 selected fantasy back

LT is having one of the best seasons EVER for a running back. I think there are some very good backs out there (LJ, Shaun Alexander...), but LT is an AMAZING WEAPON. He's like Marshall Faulk was a few years ago, only MORE dangerous. He is a very special player.

No doubt LaDanian Tomlinson...he can rush, catch, and even throw for Tds....he is an all around great player...He doesnt show off in the endzone after a TD either.

The best running back in the league is no doubt, Ladanian Tomlinson. He is so quick and fast and is the best all around offencive player ever!

Tomlinson! He has sustained excellence for a longer period of time than the other good backs. He reached 100 touch downs faster than any other back in history.
