The earth can't be upside down. Its a large ball of matter. The place where gravity is created is the centre of the earth, so everything on the surface is pulled toward the surface, no matter where on the globe the person is.
If you are looking at a small globe, there is no gravity in that globe, the only gravity is from the earth itself, so naturally there is an upside down to that globe. But that's only because its so small compared to the real thing.

The people and all of the things are attracted and kept from falling off of the Earth by gravity. Gravity makes us get attracted to Earth and keeps pulling us down no matter what. That is why we jump and come down afterwards. On the moon, there is less gravity, and that's why you can jump and stay up for a long time.

Since the earth is round - there is no such thing as up or down or upside-down!!!
All directions away from the centre of the earth (towards our Head) are UP and all directions towards the centre of earth (towards our feet) are DOWN.

gravity holds us to the earth so that we will not fall off. Try moving a piece of plastic close to water. see how the water jups up and attracts to the plastic? thats gravity. let me ask you this:
