I LOVE Zelda games. I really want to play this game. I pre-ordered when it was first announced for the GameCube. About 2 years ago. I want to know (from people that actually own it) if it is worth the hassle of trying to track down a Wii, and the expense.

Playing Zelda on the wii is amazing. It is a completely different game experience playing on gamecube vs the wii.

Being able to completely interact with the game, like swinging your sword or putting your shield in front of your face, or even fishing, the movements are just so perfect, you will forget you are playing a video game and think you ARE Link. The Wii is worth every penny and all the time you will spend finding one.

I was very skeptical of the new controller from nintendo, but after trying one out myself, I really think its going to be their rise back to the king of consoles, as long as they produce better games.

To the guy below me, I disagree with the aiming, you probably dont have the sensor bar correctly placed on your television. Also, I have been playing my Wii with the original batteries at least 2-3 hours a day since the day it was released and my battery meter still shows a full charge.

It is almost universally considered to be the best Zelda ever. Even those who don't give it the top spot put it way up there. It's huge, engaging, yet also has a certain 'classic' feel to it. And there's something to be said for BEING a wolf.

But you don't HAVE to get a Wii if you want to play it. They released it for the GameCube too.

I can understand you wanting to get a Wii, though... it's really pretty rad. Nintendo is shipping more of them out every day. Your best bet is to find a store that will take a pre-order so you don't have to wait around. Failing that, try Toys R Us or GameStop, which are official partners on the whole Wii release thing, so they're likely to have more of them on hand.

I would suggest buying a Wii if you really want to. But the games for it are not very fun (apart from Zelda of course). You can play Gamecube games on it so......If you're rich, then buy it

This is really the first time I have ever played Zelda. I am totally blown away by the whole experience. If the other Zelda games are like this, I can see what all the hubbub is about.

I love ZTP for the Wii. And while I believe it will be better on the Wii you will still be able to pick it up for the gamecube in Dec.

Buy the game cube verson.

The wii port sucks.
Your arms will get sore, and the aiming is off soo bad; it's a nightmare, like playing a light gun game on crack, then your remote battery dies after a couple houres of play.

All in all it's a great game; although the contrle scheem kills it. get it for the game cube.

I have the wired controler hooked into the back of my wii.
And play the Gc port.
