When i first got my cell phone the man said i had 200 texts per month... Does that count incoming messages to... like if Joe sends a text to me does that go towards my 200?
Please help.

No, but there are hidden charges for Reading a text message... Verizon is 5cents to read and 10cents to send..... check with your provider.

Some carriers charge 15 cents to send or receive but if you have a text package on your plan then it is using one of your 200 with each sent or received. So you send one to Joe you have 199 left, he answers back you have 198 left. Also, beware because if you only have a text plan then it means you are being charged probably about .25 cents or more if you are sent or send someone else a picture. Check which type of package you have with your carrier.

With my plan, it does include incoming and outgoing messages. 200 TOTAL per month, and it sucks if you go over!! It gets expensive.
