no, but don't wear jeans that will ride just at the belly button

Depends on ones pain tolerance.

I have some piercings that some say hurt extremeley bad and I barely felt them, yet to me my belly button hurt. It hurts less if you don't tense up or contract your stomach when getting it done, but unfortunately I wasn't able to pull it off!

If you want it get it, the sting goes away quickly, the main issue is that belly piercings are well known to become infected and never heal properly.

It depends on how you handle pain. If you can take lots of pain, a belly button piercing probably wont hurt much.

My friend got hers pierced and it didn't hurt she said. But it always got infected and she had to clean her belly button at least 10x per day so the infection wouldn't get worse.

I got it done about a week ago. It hurts a LOT right when they start doing it, but it goes away. Mine doesn't hurt at all anymore. However, I suggest having someone's hand to squeeze when you're getting it done! Good luck!

I had mine done about 4 years ago and I really didn't feel it until the next day, I just kind itched for awhile. the hardest part was getting used to something being there, and watch what I carried.

They try to numb it for the actual piercing part but my friend still passed out.
