Who should give the kiss and who should give the cheek in a cheek kiss. I have many friends that are girls in high school. When we say hello or when we say bye they start leaning toward me to give a cheek kiss. I always give them my cheek and they kiss me on the cheek. i wanted to know if this is the correct way or should i be the one giving them the kiss on their cheek.

it all depends on who leans in first. in your case the girls are the ones to lean in first, so you do right in presenting your cheek. in time you will make it a habbit between you and your girlfriends to give hello kisses so you might lean in first without even knowing. you can also do the "dual-cheek-kiss" in which you both lean in and touch your cheeks but blow the kiss straight ahead in the air at the same time. i myself personally like that one the best. makes it seem more fair and mutual.

I don't like it when i go to give a kiss on the cheek, and the person actually presents their cheek! It should be a mutual, part cheek, part air kiss, done together. Not just by one person.

i'm a woman (duh) and that i think of it could be you giving the kiss. i'm activities captain so I even have one thousand million guy acquaintances, and that i've got basically as quickly as given a kiss to them, and it wasn't a cheek kiss. i like it whilst a guy kisses me on the cheek. it could be quite of a marvel. thats wat makes it advantageous:)

there arent set rules, just go with what feels comfortable.... when in doubt, switch it up!
