ok i like letting my beard grow out for awhile.......say two weeks.....then when i shave it looks amazing.....its not that i look bad normally, its just that it looks so good after i let my beard grow and then shave............

but, if i shave every day it sorta gets irritated and doesnt have that same "glow".......how can i get my face to look like that all the time?....it would really mean alot to me if i could look that way every day.........

let me recap........i let my beard grow for 2-3 weeks and when i finally shave my face looks incredible for the next few days......why is this?.....how can i make this way all the time?

anything would be nice, cuz i have no knowledge on this subject...

Shaving has an exfoliating effect. Use an electric razor to shave every few days, and just buy yourself some face scrub with exfoliating beads (Noxzema is decent stuff, and cheap). Also, moisturizer isn't just for girls! Having that beard prevents your skin from drying out by holding a little bit of oil from your hair follicles. Get yourself a bottle of Oil of Olay, or look for product lines marketed towards men, you can find them pretty easy around the holidays.

Have you ever tried that preshave or the after shave lotion. I finely got my bf to use these to help his skin not look irritated. I now want him to try a little moisturizing cream at night to keep the skin soft and not get redish.

give some of these ideas a try

Sounds like razor burn. A good name brand moisturizer should help lots. Yes, real men do use moisturizer. There are a lot of good ones on the market. My hubby uses Olay brand...he has skin like a baby's bottom...Very soft and kissable! The type of razor you use may also make a difference. Have you tried a good brand of disposable? My hubby uses them when we travel. He likes them, but at home uses a Braun electric. I like! Excellent for smooching!

Try a good moisturizing lotion after you shave. Stay away from alcohol based after shave or colognes.
