Stupidity

2006-11-28 17:01:13 · answer #1 · answered by Anonymous · 1 0

Simple...
To be alone for the rest of my life!

Yes, I am an arachnophobe (sp?) and I'm old enough to know that heights can result in pain... but my greatest fear, and what seems to be the greatest fear for so many, is "To be alone" in life!

Work is irrelevant... Toys are irrelevant... creepy crawlies are irrelevant... compared to people's fear of being alone for their lives!

If I were faced with a choice of being "alone" for the rest of my life (I am 36) or being covered with spiders, bring on the hairiest, ugliest spiders you can find! I know it will creep me out... but compared with the pain of loneliness, I'll take Tarantula stings anyday!

My phobias are many LoL and in this order...

1. BATS!!!! They totally freak me out!
2. Total darkness. I don't see well, actually I can't even see my own hand in front of my face, in the dark so I find it disturbing.
3. The police... I don't know why, but when I see them you would think my picture is hanging in every Post Office. LoL
4. Large bugs.
5. Taking medications... I have the tolerance level of a small child so everything affects me to the extreme. It's hard for me to surrender control of my body. LoL ...when I was in labor w/ my 1st child I kept refusing pain medication, they wrote on my chart that I was combative, delusional & denied being in pain. I never denied it, I just didn't want to be medicated.
yeah, I know, I'm a total weirdo LoL

The thought of drowning and not being able to breathe just gives me palpitations!:(

And if anything ever happened to one of my kids.....every time my eldest leaves the house, I have a moment of fear that if anything happened to him, I don't think I could forgive myself for not protecting him......but he is almost 17yrs and have to let go!!!!

Oh and being 80yrs and looking back on my life, wishing I had done so much differently......have a way to go yet!

Thank God!!!!;o}
