he only made a thousand.... I know this for a fact... I'm friends with John and his twin brother...went to school with both of them! He told me once that it would have been worth it to do the movie for free... he never expected it to blow up the way it did!

None of the actors made very much...even Hailey Duff did it for free. It only cost about $400,000 to make but grossed over $40 million so the producers of the film made a handsome profit!

I'm not sure if this is right, but I found that he only made $1000.
that is unreal considering how popular the movie was
