purple or blue eyeliner?

For green, hazel, amber eyes I would use purple liner. Purple is complimentary for these colors so it should make your eyes "pop" a little more.

For brown or blue eyes a blue would be great, although either can well purple just as well.

One caution is if you're using blue liner, keep it fairly dark like a navy especially if your eyes are blue. Blue liner competes with the natural blue of the eyes.

Laura Mercier makes a liner called Black Iris that's a very deep, deep purple that looks lovely on just about any eye color.

Here's a way to get a nice look without too much color. Use your normal black or brown eyeliner then with an angled brush put purple or a darker blue eyeshadow over the liner that's there. It will give a really nice color and it looks good on just about everyone. Now if you really want to get an eyeliner that'll pop I'd say go with purple, because it goes with all eye colors. Unless it's a dark blue I wouldn't try it. Good luck with everything. :)

I say purple as it is my favorite color and when I think of blue I think of people (old ladys) putting on baby blue eye shadow that shine's and shows all their wrinkles

blue eyeliner because it can really bring out your eyes...if you have small eyes, try using white, or colors you thought of like blu, the bright, the bigger your eye will appear.....hope this helped =)
