Three years with the yanks:

Homeruns: 36 - 48 - 35
RBIs: 106 - 130 - 121
Avg: 286 - 321 - 290
On Base: 375 - 421 - 392
Runs: 112 - 124 - 113

If he's such a jokester, I'd like to see more commedians just like him playing for the yanks. I think when a team is doing well, nobody complains about anything. When they do poorly you'll see alot of finger-pointing.

All this finger-pointing is a reflection of commentators (tv, radio) who have nothing else to sell and only understand muck mentality.

It's a reflection of bad "fans" who don't understand the meaning of what it is to root for a team and stick by them.

If those numbers don't mean anything - I can't imagine what else will.

In his worst season which was last year he outhit every other Third basemen in the majors and all but a couple of the first basemen in MLB. That while playing exceptional defense at short and giving the Yanks a ready backup at short if Jeter were to get hurt for an extended period.

Strawless I think was the biggest joke to ever hit the Yankees. Here this guy comes in after being released and out of baseball. Hits a single walk off home run and claims to the press he's the straw that stirs the drink ROFL. The guy was at best a weak platoon OF as a Yankee. Most of his time with the Yanks he was lucky to hit his weight, stay off the DL and out of jail. When he wasn't in jail or suspended for drug use he was talking to the press like he was the team MVP while he was the opposing pitchers dream. A KO looking for an AB to happen in.

I guess that question is one from ignorance. You really haven't looked at his statistics since he joined the Yankees. He was the AL MVP in 2005 and this year although his numbers were off a bit he still led the team in HR's and RBI's. Not too shabby. Unfortunately the NY fans are very fickle and have gotten under his skin. He'll snap out of it this year and lead this team to the World Series and win it all.

No, A-Rod has produced during the regular season for the Yankees, and he won MVP last year.

The biggest joke to hit the Yankees is Carl Pavano.

He is possibly one of the best players ever. He was the youngest player to 400 HR. He will hit 500 HR this year.....by the end of his career he will bypass Hank Aaron possibly unless he gets hurt. He has at least 10 great years left and after that he will be in the hall of fame. There is no way in the world he is a joke.

I am an avid Red Sox fan, and I admire A-Rod. He is a great player, and this coming year will be a career year for him. I would love to see him playing shortstop for the Red Sox. Since you cry baby Yankee fans do not want him, send him to Boston. We will gladly put him into our lineup!! He is no joke!!

Chow!!

I agree with sugarbuzz3200 or whatever his name is. A-Rod is not a bad player. He had one year he didn't live up to normal A-Rod level. Pavano is a joke. He crashes his Porsche and hurts his ribs and doesn't tell anybody. Out for the rest of the year because you didn't tell anybody. Now thats a joke.

He may be a joke but the Yankees, and their fans are not laughing. They will trade him to some small club like Kansas City.

Is there any reason for your comment? What exactly are you talking about? One day A-Rod will be elected into the Hall Of Fame so I'm not sure what your question pertains to.
