A good career is one which is legal and provides for the necessities of life by means of a sufficient income. A great career is one in which a person can live comfortably though not necessarily in luxury. A really great career is one in which the needs are met financially, and you want to do that work. Anything over that including luxury items is icing on the cake. Most blue collar workers find themselves just happy to be able to eat. Some white collar workers are the same way. In some cases, a person can find himself earning a vast amount of income and not enjoying the income or the job. You have to decide what is important and have sufficient job satisfaction to keep going. Else, quite and do something else provided you won't starve doing it.

For you or for me?

What do you like to do?
What are you good at?
What can/should you do for the next 40 or so years?

Look inward, you will find the answer.
