I would recomend blueprint for a few reassons reasons - they are cheap, they are incredibly long lasting, the graphics smudge, not flake or chip, and they dont snap. I had one and it lasted me a whole year of hardcore ska8ing before i got a new one. I still use it now, actually!

I would go with Zero. Durible and has lots of pop for a higher ollie.

Buy the cheapest board you can find get comfortable rolling and see if this is really what you want to do before you go and buy a $60 board.

I started with a zero and i was and still am really happy with it I would recommend it to anyone.
