I have learned that most luxury watches have a 30% retail add on and that you can negotiate down 25-30%. Can you go lower?

I bought my wife a movado last year. I went to a jewelry store not a major department store. the method I used (and have used several times with great success) is to have the cash I'm ready to spend on me (it doesn't work well with credit/debit cards) Do some homework beforehand so you know what you are willing to spend. I go in and establish a good rapport with the sales agent and look a several low to mid range items before looking at the high end pieces. then I ask about prices and explain I only have so much to spend. i only have cash and it is all my money for the gift. they usually come down in price, if they don't I start looking at the lowest priced item they showed me. at this point the sales person sees their big sale quickly fading away. since most sales organizations are based on commission and have commission accelerators based on total amount sold or average order size. the small sale will do them no good and they have already "wasted" over an hour on you. all they need to do to get every penny out of you is to drop the "lowest" price another 5%. 9 times out of 10 the sales person bites. they get their sale and you save your money everyone wins.

I just recently went there and i noticed that during the week there is Defentily wayy less ppl. like 5-15 minute line ups. on the weekend its much busier but still ok. Um.. i would suggest going during alittle more cooler time of the year because if not u'll boil in the line ups. ( Perfeibly oct, nov, december time)After parades sometimes the parks closes sooon right after soo everyone piles into california adventure. it may be busy so advoid that and go to downtown disney.( but not always do ppl go. Check it out and maybe it wont be busy or one certain ride may be short). I stayed at Crowne Plaza. it was a nice hotel, 1-3 minute bus ride to the park too. Once u get there you will catch up with what happens and you will get the hang of figuring out stuff just like i did. In the area all around Crowne plaza there is many places to eat, the ones that i can remember are a steak house, fish resturant, Red Robin and dell taco. Corner stores for mostly all ur needs are in the area, a Target is right across the road and there is an outdoor pool in the hotel. A shuttel bus comes every so often to drive u to D.L. you will get a scehdule when you arive. the bus picks up and drives people from Crowne Plaza and the Hyatt. I enjoyed my stay there very much. I hope i helped u

it depends, sometimes if you are buying a watch, you can bargin with the person, like they say 200, you say 150. it's a simple process.
