Please present a good convincing argument for your choice. Me, personally, I prefer b&w, because they bring out the character of the subject, unlike color, which enhances the flaws.

prissy it has always been believed by many that b and w is the best because color can become a crutch you shot something that has lots of color and people over look everything Else that is involved in shooting a great picture and just concentrate on the color I shoot digital but lots of time I runs it through photoshop so see it in b and w to check my contract, basic composition etc different strokes for different but I gotta go with you and black and white for just those reasons.

I think David Beckerman put it the best in an article on his website www.davidbeckerman.com: "Black and white photography, though it is abstract, feels more real to me than color photography....The first thing that strikes me, is that by removing color, by showing images in shades of gray, you are able to concentrate on two important things: light, and composition. Things that you have some control over...
Already an abstraction, you can have black apples and white oranges. And nobody will complain. The sky can be any shade that makes sense to you. So black and white allows more control over the shades of things.....
Black and white feels like the color of New York. For me, New York city will always be a city best described in black and white. It is simply more dramatic, perhaps romantic, in monochrome....
In short -- a good black and white photograph -- no matter the subject matter -- has a sense of music and mystery for me. And that, is the best explanation I can come up with today. Tomorrow, maybe something more original will occur to me. (revised) 10-31-05 "

color
it gives you more detail of everything that was going on. so if you had to draw a pic of it, you would know what color 2 make everything. n its more colorful LOL

B&W
I love the mystery and nostalgia that a B&W can invoke in me when I view them.
