God I hope so. That would be awesome. But I gained too much weight for that. Hope you didn't. You're a thinker. Smart mama to be. Best wishes. I'll be watching to find out a professional answer to this one for sure.

I highly doubt it. First of all you would need two different doctors to perform two different operations pretty much at the same time. Also most insurance companies do not cover plastic surgery costs, if any do. That's something you have to pay for out of pocket because it is unnecessary surgery. Too bad it couldn't be done since you're already all open and such in the first place. Oh another thing..for the section you can be given a local and kept awake. For a tummy tuck you'd need to be put under which is a different anesthetic.

I really don't think that they can do a tummy tuck after a C-section. Due to the fact that during a tummy tuck they "repair" all the weak stretched out muscles and tighten then up, while also getting rid of the loose skin. You would still have an enlarged uterus after you have your baby. So I would wait till your uterus reduces to its normal size and breastfeed which helps you lose weight by burning calories to produce the milk. I lost about 20 lbs in 2 weeks breastfeeding, but dont try to starve yourself b/c its not safe. I was always little and always ate whatever w/out gaining weight. Soo yeah I dont think soo, but Im not sure! Good Luck!

I heard that you have to wait some weeks after your c-section to get done a tummy tuck. In that way doctor will know how much skin to remove.

Tummy tuck surgery is very safe nowadays. My cousin got her breast reduction, tummy tuck and facelift surgery in India by the company called Forerunners Healthcare .The Price for the surgery she paid in India was very less. She paid 30% of the cost she was quoted in America.

Forerunners Healthcare is very famous in India. They arrange cosmetic and plastic surgery for foreigners in India. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories. They arrange financing for USA, Canadian, UK and other international patients who plan to have surgery abroad for low price, as the breast reduction, tummy tuck, facelift and other cosmetic surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. There are huge cost savings. As a doctor I personally believe that surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available In India is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.

Hope this helps.

Hi
I suspect they could do that, but I think you would have to pay for the plastic surgery out of your own pocket. First call your gynecological surgeon's office to see if they even do that procedure - from there you can find out if a plastic surgeon would be needed and also see if your insurance would cover it.

Your insurance will not cover it. I asked about it myself. I just have nasty skin just hanging. (They did a vertical cut). I don't know if they would even consider doing one if you paid for it, because just think of what your body went through. Good luck on everything.
